This Van Damme cable features a shielded twisted pair of conductors per channel. The unique combination of ultra pure silver plated OFC copper, and bare copper stands within each of the conductors has given a signature to this cable defined by a very tight bass and full body along with a high end sparkle rarely found in cables of this price range, This Van Damme cable is being used extensively in phono applications, often re-branded and described as “pure silver copper cocktail” (to describe the mixture of bare silver plated copper and bare copper conductors). It is considered as a serious upgrade over not only the stock tonearm cables but even some of their much more expensive versions. It is extremely popular as an after market product (i.e.see  Audio Origami cable) but it has also been adopted by by several hi-end tonearm manufacturers.

Despite its moderate cost it delivers excellent performance and it can be used with both mm and mc cartridges with great results. Its has low capacitance and a braided tinned copper shield with high optical coverage (95%) ensuring protection against EM and RF interference.

The cable is slim (4.85mm per channel) and flexible, suitable for meeting the mechanical requirements of most suspended turntables.
