The DualCore Prime is an entirely handcrafted analogue audio cable. We have specifically designed this cable for use with Naim components but it can also be used with a broader range of audio equipment that require a single ended, stereo connection. The DualCore Prime delivers a combination of low resistance, low capacitance and excellent shielding from EMI and RFI. Its design ensures minimal crosstalk with individually shielded channels and it eliminates the risk of ground loops by maintaining a very low impedance, common ground path for the return signal.
Th AG version of DualCore Prime is constructed using solid, pure OCC Silver signal conductors and Teflon internal insulation (OCC Copper and Hybrid versions are also available upon request). The cable is double shielded with dense, silver plated OFC copper braids, using a separate shield on each channel and an overall shield for the stereo signal. The outer rubber cable jacket provides an airtight protection to the cable assembly and creates a robust but flexible profile. *The channels of the cable are aligned side by side (not twisted) giving a finished appearance with an oval shaped cross sectional area.
